Tip of the Week – Searching by City or Zip Code Borders

This tip is for the NorthstarMLS Mobile App (powered by Homespotter).

(Click on the image to see a larger version)

Searching for listings with a specific city or zip code just got easier with our bounded search, all with and center at features. Type in a specific city or zip code, and you’ll see new options to search:

A. Bounded Search indicated by the icon will show you listing only in that specific city or zip code.

B. All With indicated by the icon will show you any address that has the word you searched for in the street address.

C. Center At indicated by the icon will bring you to the center of that city where you can zoom in and out from that pinpoint.

Hint: don’t select done when you finish typing in a city or zip code. Click on the specific address, city, or zip code view you’d like to see- and the type of search you’d like performed (bounded, all with, or center at).
