Instanet Solutions has released the new TransactionDesk App for iOS devices. The TransactionDesk App is free and available to all NorthstarMLS subscribers now.

The app enables you to manage all of your listing, sales and lease transactions from your mobile device. With the app, you can keep in touch and communicate with clients, share documents, create and fill in forms, prepare and send documents for eSigning and send documents for remote approval to ensure transactions are completed and finished on time, every time.

All of the same functionality currently available in the browser based TransactionDesk service is available in the mobile app. Users can access the Authentisign®, Instanet Forms®, DocBox®, Instanet Fax® and Broker Dashboard services currently available in the browser based TransactionDesk service all from within the app. The TransactionDesk App can be downloaded on the Apple App store here.

For security reasons, you’ll need activate the app by logging into your NorthstarMLS Matrix account, opening Instanet Forms from the External Links box, retrieve your activation code for the app and copy/paste that code into the app on your device. It’s just takes a minute or so of your time. More information regarding the new TransactionDesk App can be found here.

Note: An Android version of the TransactionDesk App is in the works, but no release date has been announced by the vendor. Approximately 90% of mobile logins to TransactionDesk & Authentisign are from iOS devices. We’ll announce when an Android version is available.

Below are some interesting statistical nuggets on a couple of NorthstarMLS Core Services that we pulled on NorthstarMLS subscribers.

Authentisign
So far in 2016, over 9,000 consumers/users have signed 266,622 documents. NOTE:  In 2015, Authentisign was used by 10,675 consumers to sign 613,619 documents.

ShowingTime
Since ShowingTime was launched on NorthstarMLS over a month ago (May 3), NorthstarMLS subscribers have scheduled 194,636 showings for their clients. ShowingTime has its own mobile app for phones and tablets — 4,219 agents and 4,804 clients have installed the ShowingTime mobile app.

The Authentisign vendor will be making a few minor improvements to the system on Tuesday, April 14.

Updates Include

  • The overall look of Authentisign with feature more font colors
  • Document names can be edited in Step 3 of the Signing Creation
  • Signings can now be copied
  • Signatures are now in black font (previously blue) for better readability.

Instanet is moving all users to Authentisign2Go, the newest version of Authentisign. It’s the fastest, easiest to use version of Authentisign. Authentisign2Go runs on PCs, MACs, tablets and smartphones.

For the past year, Authentisign2Go has automatically displayed on your mobile devices, and many of you have already chosen to use it on your desktop PCs by using the version toggle that has been inside Authentisign “Classic”.

The “Classic” version will be discontinued and all users automatically moved to Authentisign2Go on September 16th.  There is nothing you need to do. The change will be totally seamless and you will enjoy all the benefits of this newer version:

  • Compatibility with virtually any device and browser (via HTML5).
  • The fastest version of Authentisign, yet.
  • The same interface whether you are on a PC, MAC, tablet or smartphone.
  • Large, easy to see, tablet and touch friendly icons.
  • All the newest features – Layouts, In-Person Signings, integration with Cloud based services such as Google Drive and DropBox.
  • Authentisign2Go is now lodged on their brand new, state of the art Cloud service that has 20 times the processing power of our previous Authentisign infrastructure for great performance and reliability.
  • There is no App to download. It just works on virtually any common device with a browser.

Instanet recently released several new updates to their Authentisign electronic signature application:

  • Instanet toll-free phone and chat support is now available 24/7, 365 days a year for all aspects of the Instanet app.  They expect all calls to be answered within one minute.  Click the “Live Support” link at the bottom of the Instanet home screen for phone, email and chat options.  Email support will still be 9 to 5 eastern time M-F for now, but will also move to 24/7 in the coming weeks.
  • Authentisign “Templates” are now referred to as “Layouts” to distinguish them from forms templates.
  • Authentisign layouts can be created and applied to documents (in addition to forms).
  • You can now import documents from Google Drive, Dropbox and Microsoft One Drive.

Authentisign will now send email alerts to you when a recipient’s email server returns an error message and the email is not delivered successfully.

For example, if you input an incorrect, non-existent email address and the receiving email server notifies Authentisign that the mailbox does not exist, Authentisign will email you (signing creator) notifying you of the issue. Authentisign will also post a message in the signing details page under the problem email address.

In addition to non-existent email addresses, the new functionality also monitors and notifies regarding mailbox-full, mailbox-busy, ISP blocking email and other email error messages.

Great news — Authentisign2go is here! This version of Authentisign is designed specifically for tablets and is available NOW. You will be able to set-up and create electronic signings on your iPad (beta testing on Android and Windows based tablets is underway — we’ll keep you posted on a release date). Authentisign2Go is 100% browser based, so it will not require the download and installation of an app.

Authentisign is completely integrated with InstanetForms, DocBox and TransactionDesk. Any form or document in your account can easily be added to a signing. All Authentisign and Authentisign2Go signings are 100% compatible. Signings created on a computer, PC or Mac, are viewable and editable in Authentisign2Go on an iPad and vice versa.

Using both Authentisign2Go and Instanet forms, you will now be able to write contracts and fill-in other forms, set-up the forms for electronic signature and have them signed, all on an iPad, remotely or while sitting with a client.
